So with pokebank coming out this month, What games should I get and play through to get as many if not ALL the currently unavailable pokemon?

I figure HG/SS, Platnium, Emerald and I already have White 2.
Is that all I would need? Do you all already have your pokemon ready to transfer?
What are the odds that would let us get all the event pokemon eventually through wi-fi mystery gift like the Torchic they gave out?
