My friend just mentioned this to me: Every pokemon fights. Is the "fighting" type a little to inaptly named? What would a better name for the fighting type be?

I think Hero type would make sense. I always thought of them as the "good guy" type since they are super effective against Dark.

The Japanese name for the Fighting type is 格闘, which translates much closer to "Grappling" than to "Fighting". It just a slightly illogical translation choice that most people understand the intended implications of anyway.
