So when people talking about Pokegenned Pokemon, do they just mean Pokemon with 5-6 perfect IVs they create? Or is it Pokemon with 300 EVs in every stat?

Before gen 6's new destiny knot mechanics, breeding perfect IV pokemon took WAY too fucking long if you tried to do it legitly.

It's even worse if you need a specific move tutor in gen 4 or if it only came from an event.

Furthermore, Pokegenners don't play on simulators because they're full of pros. They only want their pantomime shinies in the actual game to pubstomp kids on Wi-Fi. Of course, their shiny with an improbable spread will get curbstomped by a full UU team anyway with a Magikarp sweeper just because they are that inexperienced and mediocre.

For some people it is a big deal because it adds up.

Pic related, only one box of Pokemon with perfect IVs and optimal EVs, abilities, natures and moves as well as Pokerus, all ready to be transfered. This was done in under an hour, in game it would probably take days if not weeks of intense chainbreeding.

Sure they are. If you do it right (that is, don't give your mons impossible moves or abilities - so no Wondertomb, etc.), generated Pokemon are literally the same as legit ones. The Pokemon data is 100% figures out, the system cannot tell the difference between gend and legit mons because there is none.

Honestly, it's just too big of a hassle if you really want to get into it.
I wouldn't mind breeding one team, but if you want to try different things it just gets too tedious. I gen'd Pokemon for a cookie cutter team, a rain team, a sun team, a hail team, gimmick teams, etc. This shit would take forever to get legit. I just enjoy battling way too much than endless breeding.
Why do you think shit like Showdown is so popular? Breeding is tedious, battling is fun.

Trash bytes are virtually useless bytes and only need to be changed if you want to use a Pokemon with its hidden ability which can't be bred (legendaries mostly).

Which of course is easily done with Pokegen. If you have to fix shit up all the time you're just careless and /or stupid.

It is easy. Moves and abilities can be freely set.

The only part that isn't instantly done is generated a legit Pokemon ID or PID. PID is basically the main cheating protection and before the algorithim to generate a legit one was figured out, cheating was hard. The PID sets your Pokemon's stats, gender, nature, hidden power and shininess, but PokeGen has a handy tool where you can just enter the desired values and it generates a legit PID for you.

Well I suppose that's true, but I never had to generate Pal Park Pokemon. I can't think of a time where I'd ever need to except for Kyogre or Groudon.

No, you can play the game without minding about IVs, it's your choice. But if you IV breed you can be better at competitive. You can use simulators if you don't like to breed. Noone is cohercing you at breeding. Stop saying excuses to justify your lazyness.
