Smogon rules only affect Showdown, dumbass.

People are allowed to use whatever they want online in the actual game.

Tat's cool and all, but OP wasn't playing with one of those groups, you go online you'll get ubers, you should know this.

The only way to avoid this is to agree from the start you will follow smogon rules, and that is the very reason those groups exist.

I always find it funny how when someone wins against a full team of ubers they are awesome players, but if they lose to just one uber the other guy cheated.
