Sup /vp/. so I'm finally able to get a ds 3ds/2ds and pokemon y. I have $200 to spend. Is the 2ds worth it? or should I just get an xl and wait for pokemon y? thoughts?

The 2ds is great if you only really want it for Pokemon. Most of the game (other than the battles) are in 2d anyway. They're really nice to hold.

I own a 2ds and its great, comfortable to hold and the lr buttons are great, if you are worried about not having 3d don't worry, there is barely any 3d and when there is it lags like cray

Only downside to the 2ds is it can't fit in your pocket comfortably (it will fit in mine but it takes up all the room)

I own a normal 3DS because I got it new for 130€ but I'd love to sell it and buy a used XL. But just thinking about having to fund and add safaris all over again I give up
