I use one to set up L. Screen/Reflect and baton pass agility. Can be useful since people don't really know what to expect, and with a Light Screen it can take some hits.

One time I won an OU battle because of this guy. Due to Arena Trap, a Dugtrio got the opportunity to set up on me. After getting boosted up, it OHKOd whatever poke I had in at the time, I don't remember. Then I sent out Delibird. I used Fake Out, took out about 20 percent. Then I used ice shard and knocked it out. It saved me the game.

They both were at one point good, but my bros Metagross and Gallade are both constantly shat on by Game Freak.

Metagross was probably the 4th best competitive Pokemon (behind Thundurus-I, Tyranitar, and Cresselia). It needed a nerf.

From what I can remember, you couldn't find a team without a Metagross on it throughout all of Gen III and the early months of Gen IV. He had a great typing and the bulk to balance out his low speed.

I'd be all for a whole gen-6 of 'rest' for Gallade, if I could get at least some reassurance that GF -might- give him a nice set of developement within hypothetical gen-7 batch of Megas and abilities.

Damn, he isn't waifu tier in the slightest, but he has popularity decent enough for extra developement to pay for itself.

I love Gallade too man but he has a pretty respectable movepool to work with.
Metagross got it bad though, aside from the Assault Vest

Unless you are talking about doubles (I wonder how these work now for him with all these Mega evolutions and fairies strolling around), Gallade's problem with movepool is the fact that only half of his typing has a nice amount of STAB moves - the other half only has what Gallade himself and Medicham brought.
