How do you use this thing outside a trick room team?
How do you set a trick room team anyway without getting anything killed? I can see one way in a triple battle if the opposing team doesn't have fake out. I was hoping that prankster would work best until I saw the priority bracket.
Btw, is water pulse bumped to 135 or 120?

60*1.5*1.5=135 effective base power including STAB and Mega Launcher.

Also, just FYI, Protect is incredibly useful (as in, probably the most commonly used move in the metagame) in Double and Triple battles, so if you rely on not being faked out, try Protecting first turn.

Heal Pulse is kinda fun with bulky teams in double battles, but it isn't terribly bulky so it's usually better off just attacking.

Yeah, I raised one for doubles, gave it heal pulse and protect and it brings mixed results. Its low speed and bulk make heal pulse pretty unreliable. I would say focus sash would help but he usually gets 2HKOd anyway...

I might try something like:
252HP/252DEF/4S.DEF Bold nature
-Heal pulse
-Helping hand (he gets it from alamomola by breeding)
-protect
-water pulse/dark pulse/whatever covers my team the best

Oblivious+Lum Slowbro. Overcoat+Mental Herb Reuniclus. Synchronize+Lum/Mental Herb Musharna. However, I don't like sacrificing their abilities or moveslots.

You could lead with something with either Rage Powder or Follow Me. Priority +3, so only Fake Out is stopping you. Amoonguss, Tangrowth, Clefable, and Togekiss are probably the best users

For Fake Out users, you could either use your own, faster Fake Out user, or your own, faster Quick Guard user. Weavile, Ambipom, Liepard, Meowstic, Mienshao, M-Khan, and >Raichu are the fastest Fake Outs.

To prevent Taunts, either Fake Out like above or just use a faster Taunter, preferably with Prankster. Liepard is the fastest Taunt in the game, and can also still make use of Fake Out. Personally, Liepard is my favorite TR lead partnet because on top of that, it can also use priority Charm, which is always good to have when the most centralizing mons are physically-based.

Finally, Aromatisse's ability also prevents your side of the field from being Attracted, Taunted, or Tormented. It's movepool is decent enough to set up and contribute to a TR team, but I'm not a fan of it.

Oh fuck, forgot about taunt. It'll fuck up the whole set up. Thanks for that. Trevenant can use trick room and isn't affected by fake out. So there's that. I think this is key to guarantee the trick room. Probably not leading with it but switching in to it.
Rage powder was decreased to +2 this gen.

Assault vest sounds best. If I go with EVs in HP and SpDef, should nature be modest to compensate for lack of SpAtt or go all out with Calm.

All the worthwhile Megas will be banned in a couple of months anyway. Although there's been a spike in the usage of Knock-Off, so maybe Megas will still be relevant if that becomes more of a thing.
