I can see that, but what does that have to do with Dunkywanker's legs?
What's the point of those two red circles? Just because there's a blank space doesn't mean it has to be filled in with random shapes.

probably it was not approved by some NOA handlers, here (he's Doug Dinsdale) talks about some localization mistakes.
Sadly he was fired by Nintendo during Platinum if i recall correctly, because they wanted to handle localization internally without relying on a freelance translator.

Technically we have no idea if the real animal had those markings or if it even had back flippers, all thats been recovered in the bone plates of the head, the rest of its skeleton is cartilage

The first one looks way more like a real Dunkleosteus than the second one, and I'm gonna say I think I like it better overall, but I like the idea of a walking fish because I can see the second one standing up on its hind legs and using its front fins like big Popeye arms and that image amuses me.
