Would these three OGs be viable on a team together?

I was thinking Blastoise for Spin support, SubSeed special tank Venusaur, and DD Mega Charizard X.

Alternatively, I could run ChloroSaur and Zard Y with SpinStoise.

This sounds much better than your other option, but it's still clinically autistic to create a "Kanto starters" team.

It's alright if you want to use them because you like them, but competitively there are better options. If you're going for a favorites team though then there's not much point in discussing their viability.

You could say the same about 80% of all Pokemon. And Charizard X is pretty good. How about instead of being the Smogon police, you try to have some fun?

I made teams on Showdown during Gen V OU that consisted of:
-3 starters
-regional bird
-Pika clone
-regional pseudo
I made one for every region and the Kanto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh ones worked the best.

It's a FWG core and you could probably hold your own below the 1400 mark on the ladder with it, why not give it a shot

I'd go with Yzard and chlorophyl venusaur

I've broken 1800 easily with teams that had far worse Pokemon than the Kanto starters. Why are there so many scrubs on /vp/?
