Alright, /vp/, I'm at a loss of what to do in this game anymore.
I REALLY want to complete the Pokedex, but I haven't played a single game since Emerald, and I know once Pokebank comes out, everyone's gonna want a shiny or legendary for the shitload of Pokemon that aren't in X and Y.
I've tried my hand at shiny hunting, but dear Jesus, it's a fucking time consumer, and I spend half the time either laying my DS down while biking with one hand, or spending hours in encounters. Either way, I think it takes away from actually PLAYING the game.
I've never done any sort of competitive battles, I'm interested in getting into it, but no near nothing about the mechanics involved in it. I remember reading the intensity of it in Diamond and Pearl, and thought it was too demanding, although I am willing to try it again.
