I saw some threads about Pokemon anime here today and figured you guys must have watched Origins, so did you enjoy it?

It just watched it, and was quite disappointed. The first episode was really good and got me hyped, but skipping most of the gym matches was bit too much. Also, about every shown battle was a OHKO fest that ended way too fast.

It was good at some points, though. Cubone's and its mothers story caught me off guard, it was actually quite touching and brutal. Animation was beautiful, and there was no filler. The fight with Mewtwo started good, but I didn't like how Mega Charizard made it look like a bitch.

Also, did they introduce mega evolutions here? I thought Origins aired way before gen VI
