I got a Jap one via wonder trade and decided to breed a few more since I was retarded and thought they were rare for some reason. Less than a box into breeding, a shiny modest female popped out. I've MM'd two more since then, Furfrou and Druddigon, and I got a box full off of Instachecker.

Still haven't trained it since sun nerf and Victreebel can't learn Growth (Weepinbel can, but if I evolve and forget it Victreebel can't Heart Scale it) so I haven't touched it yet since I don't know what to do with it. Second shiny was a worse Weepinbell that I traded for a shiny Durant on /vp/.

Chain fishing is really easy once you have something with Suction Cups. It takes around 20-30 minutes for most chain fishing shinies.

My first gen 6 shiny was my first shiny altogether. It was a Relicanth. I had just learned about Chain fishing, so I gave it a try. Chain of 3, got a shiny Relic. Threw him in a box.

You don't even need suction cups if you're fishing with a good/old rod. The rate of catching is much higher there.

I tired fishing chaining once, but due to various circumstances, I had to play with the sound off, so it was troublesome getting the timing right. I tried shiny breeding, gave up due to lack of interest. tried going to friend safari, spent a good 2 hours in there, gave up. I have only got one legit, non-gyarados shiny in my life, a shiny budew in pearl.

Doesn't matter. Unlike radar chaining, fish chaining only depends on hooking consecutive pokemon, so you can just run from every battle to conserve PP.
