it has nothing to do with having staller or sweeper pokemon, it has to do with the person literally stalling the match by running the clock. If you want to run a team of stallers by al means go ahead, but don't be a faggot and waste the whole duration of the clock every turn, it's a fucking stupid thing to do.

Even fighting people on the other side of the planet, its easy to tell what they're doing based on how long their turn takes

>0-5 seconds: attack
>5-10 seconds: switch
>10-30 seconds: damage calc
>30+ seconds: timestall

Hearthstone does this thing where the timer gets shorter every time it is used up. GF should had done something similar to that- wait for a minute, now you have 50s to choose. Wait 50s, now you have 40s, etc.

Whenever someone time stalls, I just imagine the person on the other side looking through several sites to figure out what set I am using then calculate the possibility of using a certain attack while calculating the amount of min-max damage it would receive. Someone out there must be autistic enough to do this each battle.
