Pretty much everyone who plays Ubers (and I mean properly play Ubers) have agreed at this point Power Herb Geomancy is far too unreliable and not worth the one chance it gets to sweep. Of course it's still going to be high in usage because no one below 1500 has cottoned on yet.

OU takes the most skill because it's the most competitive, I have always found getting to the top of lower tier ladders a little too easy

I played a lot of NU last generation and can tell you it's just as bad as OU.

Sawk was the Smogonbird of NU last generation and I can guarantee it'll probably come back for round two this time.

I played RU a lot near the end, and it was actually a lot of fun. It was really limited with the amount of Pokemon in it though, so there wasn't as much diversity.

Lots of Cosmic Power Sigilyph.

UU is good but it's a lot centralized around hazards. Still like it because it's pretty diverse pokemon and playstyle-wise.

Same thing for RU, but less hazards centralized because better spinners/worse ghosts.

I used one on my team, and enjoyed it a lot. All I'm saying is that it was on basically every team and had few checks.

Haunter and Primape are the only two I remember being extremely effective.

You've got it the other way around, fella. Infernape in D/P/Pt was Salamence Lite.

Salamence was a huge force in D/P/Pt along with Garchomp. They both rightfully got banned for over-centralizing the meta.

I think it was also when they decided the Latis are legal in OU as long as they don't hold Soul Dew.
