It's not cowardly it's just stupid, at least try. Just because your mega-milf fainted or I stopped you from setting entry hazards doesn't justify a forfeit. If you have 1 or two pokemon left and you know you can't win it's somewhat excusable, but I've had people quit on me after I kill their lead. It's ridiculous.

Bro.. My last Pokemon was a Blissey.

He had 2 Pokemon left, which were out and was a Niggersby and a Greninja.

To be honest, it was pointless to prolong it when my only attack is Flamethrower.

I was once cornered with a Pikachu. The opponent still had Mega Heracross on yellow hp, healthy Charizard and Bastiodon also in yellow hp.
Fake Out KO'd Heracross, Volt Tackle outsped and OHKO'd Charizard and Brick Break critted and finished the battle over Bastiodon. Never give up.
In the same battle my Cinccino survived a direct Stone Edge from Salamence, that makes me wonder all the time

I've turned potential 5-0's into 0-1's that way. But if all you're left with is a burned poke with 20hp left or w/e you may as well end it early to keep your mon from suffering.

Guy swept 2 of my 3 pokemon with a mega mewtwo because I was unprepaired, he had a Yvetal, Mewtwo Y and an Articuno.

My last Pokemon was a Shuckle
Infestation and Toxic, I killed two of his Pokemon, and then he forfeited when his Articuno was on something like 1 hp. Why he took so long I don't know.

Why I didn't forfeit was because I thought he'd kill my Shuckle.
