Why does GF have barely any creativity when it comes to the E4's typing? It always consists of "those" types:

I always felt like they just make E4 members based on the quantity of pokemon for those certain types for the regional dex.

So if they're are alot of Dark types that are attainable pre-national dex, then its easy to make an E4 member a dark type trainer. My theory gets kinda disproved by gen IV's Flint though :/

In order for that to make sense then the typings of the E4 of the other games have to relate to the title, too. What does Fire, Water, Steel, and Dragon have to with X and Y?
