I haven't watch much of X and Y, but as far as I can tell, Bonnie actually interacts with Clemont far more than Max ever did with May. Those two seemed to argue more than anything.

Clemont and Bonnie are just adorables, have sweet personnalities and have great character development since the beginning of the series. May and Max always were kinda meh for me. To be honest, i'm really surprise to love these two so much, I thought i would find them annoying.

They had some episodes focusing on their relationship as brother and older sister, I specialy remember the one about a lost Shuppet or something like that, it was pretty cute.
