However, there has yet to be a single one that I'd admit to actually hating. Simply speaking, I don't dedicate much thought to Pokemon designs that rub me in the wrong way. Life is too short to waste even a moment on actively hating a piece of franchise that you love.

It often makes me wonder how people deal with real life problems I wonder how far the hate for ficticious creature can go - I saw a multiple instances of pokefans ranting about how Gallade has been only made to appeal to homophobes/transphobes of all ages and that they will NEVER EVER evolve a male Kirlia into one.
One thing is a contempt for a cartoony creature, but it really begins to push the limits when you wear that contempt as a badge of pride/personal theme.
