So Pokebros, my girlfriend is getting me X for christmas, ive played every gen besides this one (though i hardly remember b/w, never played b/w2) but i've never ev/iv trained and i plan to do that and shiny hunt in this gen to keep me goin til z since ive heard there's little to no post game content. How fucked am i since i have no iv/ev knowledge?

TL;DR how does iv/ev training compare in X/Y to other generations?
