>>16736464Do you even know how Zygarde works?
Don't answer that, I already know that you do not.
It is not outclassed by Garchomp. It does not have the same role as Garchomp. Garchomp and Zygarde do not do the same things. Do not use Zygarde as Garchomp. Do not use Garchomp as Zygarde. Other than the fact they share a type combination and like to use Physical attacks, Zygarde and Garchomp should not be called "similar".
Now we can begin.
Zygarde's value lies in its bulk. It is meant to tank hits while boosting its Attack and Defense with Coil. It has more Physical bulk than Hippowdon. It has more Special bulk than Celebi. And unlike Dragonite, its bulk is not shot to shit if Rocks or Sand are present.
In terms of moves, Zygarde should not be using any Dragon-type attacks. Read that last clause again, and make sure you understand it. You'll want to run Earthquake, Extreme Speed, and Stone Edge. Remember, Coil boosts accuracy, so Stone Edge doesn't miss. Zygarde has little to fear from most Fairies if it has gotten a Coil or two off, as it can survive most unboosted Moonblasts and hit hard with its Physical moves, especially since it's faster than pretty much all of them. And if it isn't, there's Extreme Speed.
Since the only reason for Hydreigon to use Steel-type moves is to get rid of Fairies, it should never run Flash Cannon because Iron Tail exists and most Fairies have weaker Physical defense. Even then, the Brutal Pokemon will probably prefer to fight on its own terms as often as possible, so U-turning to something else before the opposing Fairy can attack is usually a better option.
Still, neither Zygarde nor Hydreigon can be truely called "dead weight" against Fairies, since both have the power to 2HKO nearly all of them on the switch.
Also, Zygarde is not a worse Garchomp. Stop that.
