What do you wish you could transfer to XY?

Did they ever give a reason for why they cartridge locked the Spiky-Eared Pichu? Besides the in-game time-travel bullshit, I mean. As far as I recall, it's the only event poke they ever did it with, correct?

The only reason I can think of is because they'd have to make a completely new sprite/model if people wanted to transfer her.

Yeah, the special sprite was made for HGSS, so transferring it would turn it into a normal Pichu, ruining everything special about it.
