I've found some success with Talonflame as my lead. If the oppnent leads off with a pokemon that it's weak to, I u-turn and switch to one of my other pokes that can take it.
Mega Blastoise is good, as it will do well against just about anything Talonflame can't take. But Mega Mawile is also very good, even without trick room.
Having trouble deciding on third teammate. I've been using Garchomp, but he just feels kind of there. Although he's fantastic if I know the opponent is going to try to take out Talonflame with an electric attack.
I got to round 17 of super singles. I know jack shit about battling, so that's a pretty good accomplishment for me. Considering the last round I got to before that was 1.
