I am very well aware of "how 4chan's supposed to work", and I couldn't care less whether or not someone reveals their identity. I completely understand why most folks choose to use the site that way, and that's fine. I've been using 4chan for many years, and now that I've got a bit of a name for myself (what with my music and a youtube series, and all), I feel very comfortable giving out my contact email.
I also have more than one email, and I never give out my main one.
