You notice that the Trick+Flame Orb strategy crippled Scizor and then relayed the Choice BAnd to cripple Lucario, preventing it from boosting (which is what all Lucario did and still does). It's supposed to SUPPORT THE TEAM and tank attacks.
That's not even getting into the massive utility of Unaware sets, which stops: all boosting dragons except LO-Garchomp and Zard-X, NP Thundurus, Manaphy, LO-Greninja, Volcanora, Belly Drum Azumarill, and a shit-tonne of other things. Even that's not something, you can slap onto any team. It has a specific role, that fits best on balance, stall, and semi-stall.
