But it is. There's a reason there are "this move never misses" versions of damn near every element. It was meant to be a thing you encounter from time to time, not something you just pretend doesn't exist in some pile of nerd's "house rule" set that doesn't matter to 90% of the community at large and has zero relevance to any of the official tournament versions of the game.

Evasion is easily countered nowadays.
I don't support removing the evasion clause but understand that it's only still here because of tradition and most people think the annoyance of having to deal with people abusing it outweighs the fun of the occasional gimmick strategy utilizing it..

Honestly I think they should test evasion and see how the lower tiers handle it this gen. Much like the No-SR tier.

A bunch of abilities and moves got changed to never miss. Toxic used by Poison types, Roar/Whirlwind, Defog, Keen Eye, etc.
