>>16771837It's not as popular as some other options, it already appeared in a pokeball, and it's not enough of a solely 'female' species to justify your reasoning. I'm not saying it won't get in, but a betting man wouldn't bet on it.
Mewtwo will probably get back in. It was scheduled for Brawl before they ran out of time, leaving it's unfinished data inside the game. It also stars in a new movie, it is one of the most popular pokemon, and it has two new Megas to boot.
Lucario will probably get back in. It's coding is fresh from Brawl, it's not far behind Mewtwo in popularity, and it has a new Mega form of it's own.
Pokemon Trainer will probably get back in. The Kanto starters all got Megas and remain extremely near the peak of the most popular pokemon period.
Pichu probably won't get in, as there hasn't been anything relevant to it in some time.
Jigglypuff is a veteran from the 1st Smash, all but guaranteeing it a spot, even besides it's massive popularity in Japan.
Pikachu confirmed.
I read somewhere that the creators said new characters were a low priority in SSB4 too. I would adore my favorite pokemon getting in, but as I said, a betting man wouldn't bet on it.
