How do you predict the Pokemon league going down this time? Yet another top 8 finish, or he will he get up to top 4 again? Maybe a proper finals match for this (as of yet) pretty competent Ash? Will he win it?
Will mega-evolution play a big role on either side?

Why in the world do people think failing at the E4 in the anime verse means you have to start over? I think in DP they at least demonstrated you can try for the champion as many times as you wish with no consequences. You will never lose your position once you reach the champion league and face the E4/Champion. You can only go forward or stay where you are.

As long as it goes similar to what happened in the Sinnoh saga it will be cool, that Ash was badass and quite the trainer, if we get the same Ash in X/Y or at least very similar it would be great.

Hopefully winning, and if not, making it up to the finals at least and then start with some random bullshit to pull it down. And as much of a smogonfag that Tobias was, it was kinda impressive too.

I feel like he is more motivated then ever to win this time. At least that's what it looks like to me based off the last BW episode where thought about how every single one of his friends are chasing their dreams and he still only a challenger. Serena, Clemont and Bonnie are pretty much the Ash fan club, and his mom is also looking forward to him winning the league, so the support is there. The new Kalos Pokémon and Mega Evolutions could finally bring Ash to the top.
