this is a tough question. i'd rather fix most moves as opposed to removing them.

it's not exactly the answer op was looking for but i would make toxic not a tm. it's infinite distribution makes poison pokemon and the status that they can cause very underwhelming.

Stealth rock, even tho I play doubles, I can feel that its a pain in singles. Or actually I'd rather nerf it so it wouldn't hit pokemon in the air or with levitate.

Ice type moves get a whole lot more use than Ice types do which is understandable considering its nonexistant resistances and that every Water type gets Ice Beam and Blizzard. Poison is only now getting some use offensively because of fairies and Scolipede.

And by now, both of them are better off than Dark is. Holy shit.

The reason so many people are bootyblasted about Stealth Rock is because it only takes one turn to set up and deals typed percentage damage.
I don't really feel the need to remove it, but more to nerf it so that
a] Rock types absorb it like Poison does with tox spikes
b] it either deals untyped damage OR takes 3 turns to set up like Spikes does

Stone Miss ad Rock Slide are like the physical counterparts to Ice BEam in that if you can run it, you usually do run it

I don't think it needs to be removed; just nerfed. The only way I see Spike being affected by type is that it has no effect on Flying Pokemon or levitating ones.

But that's the whole point, ice as a type is worse. Ice type moves are good, but it's much more worthwhile to have it as a coverage move rather then STAB. Also his point is that if toxic were for poison types only, it would greatly increase the value of poison types.

I'm going to second this, at the very least it shouldn't be determined by IVs. Trying to go for specific HPs on top of hidden abilities/gender/quality IVs legitimately is ridiculously difficult
