If a sashed pokemon counted as a counter, everything with a SE move would be a counter. But you're not countering Garchomp with a Weavile unless you're retarded.

If M-Chomp becomes a thing, Air BalloonDedenne will find a niche. Since M-Chomp is slower, Dedenne actually outspeeds him....and may outspeed Chomp anyways, depending on nature.

M-chomp's standard sets can't even land a hit on Dedenne. Which will let him start setting up.

Set up into what?

...well, there's a good question. Does Dedenne even get any good buffing moves?

Dedenne wont make it higher than PU, even if it gets all fairy moves and Ice Beam.

Pretty sure Stone Edge OHKOs Dedenne after SR damage. And Dedenne probably fails to OHKO chomp without specs.
In a worst case scenario, chomp can just switch out to something that counters Dedenne (everything).

No, practically every other fairy or will have a "niche." M-Garchomp is slow and still has a 4x Ice Weakness, you don't need garbage like Air Balloon Dedenne to counter it.

Seriously, out of all fairies Dedenne is probably the most useless by a huge margin.

It's too bad. Dedenne's the first Pikaclone I've liked, somewhat good typing, and pretty cute. I thought it'd be fun to use it as a Dragon wrecker but it doesn't even get Dazzling Gleam or fuck not Fairy Wind either.
