ITT: change something about any pokemon, whether it be the ability, movepool, BST, etc.

I'd get rid of Gourgeist's pickup ability and replace it with Shadow Tag

That's true, but I think Gamefreak was going for a dynamic like: she's our take on the stereotypical fairy, lives with and takes care of flowers. But she's not grass type in the way a human gardner isn't one. Granted, that could still make her grass type, but it's not enough in the way Lugia isn't water or Gyarados isn't a dragon.

Personally I'd rather that Xerneas also was part grass type.

I wanted my forest god deer.

It would have made it on even standing on Yveiltal as well, rather than obliterating it outright type-wise

fairy -> dark
grass <- flying

if GF really wanted a pure fairy legendary they should really have either:

retyped old ones like the lake trio or
saved it for an event legendary

It really wouldn't have bugged me so much if she was still holding on to a flower,or simply adopted its color scheme rather than looking like she merged with it.

like say:

Farfetch'd or Timburr/Gurdurr/Conkeldurr

nobody would question why they weren't part grass/steel/rock

It has Fire Blast and Flamethower.
Also learns Will-o-Wisp and Flame Charge.

Flame Charge is fucking amazing on it, as it walls any grass pokes (not named mega venusaur), most steel and even weak ice types.

Mine is a Scizor and Ferrothorn destroyer. Also manages to to take down Mega Luke and Mega Scizor if the come face to face without buffs and with full hp.
