Like, for that Tyranitar, if you wanted an attacker/sweeper, you'd probably benefit most from an Adamant, or Jolly nature (raises Atk and Speed respectively, while also lowering SpAtk). Or you could decide to bolster its Special Defense (which would already be buffed in a sandstorm), by using a SpDef raising nature like Careful, or maybe even Sassy.
10% is a very useful boost, don't be mistaken.
