Allright guys, last summer I found my Game Boy Color with Pokemon Silver in it and after changing the batteries I was able to finally get through the entire game, something that as a kid who did not know English very well, I never managed to do.

Anyway, my girlfriend is giving me a copy of Pokemon Y for Christmas, what's your advice?
Please remember, I have no idea what the IV's are, nor am I familiar with all those abilities, or new legendaries.
I'm very excited for the game, but will it be hard to understand after so many years?
