I believe I have two ways to bypass smogons no-more-infinite-games rule. Both of these will make FUNbro FUN again, however they will be more difficult to setup and will most likely need to be used on the opponents final pokemon to prevent switching. If anyone has any idea how to improve either of these setups let the thread know.

They've banned the combination of Leppa + Recycle + Heal Pulse, because it does nothing but stall matches out to infinity. /vp/ has spent the past two days trying to find ways to get around it because le showderp face.

I can't think of a single situation where Leppa would be more beneficial than Sitrus, especially considering you're unlikely to run out of PP before you've stalled your opponent to death.

it's optional, not mandatory

Technically speaking, upon setting up leech seed, you don't specifically have to do anything besides make sure you have a substitute up, and stay alive

So once your opponent's magic guarders and grass types are gone, being sure you have a sub up when your opponent switches out and you can protect for extra recovery, there's no real reason to run sitrus or lum, especially since sub+protect will protect you from every form of status except infiltrator toxic.

Use it on something without taunt. When I ran Funbro I used regenerator so if I switch in on something it couldn't handle I could make it out without any problems, and it worked fine.

Why not just add a 20 minute timer before the game ends? Really. It's not fucking hard. It prevents significant timer stalling, too.

Have you even fought a stall team before? 20 minutes will not cover every match.

Not to mention this would result in a tie, which would still mean the Funbro user wins since he successfully wasted 20 minutes of their time.

not if both have a stall team or the last two are stall pokemon.
and if the winner after the 20 mins is the one with more HP then he could time stall to save HP and PP and win.
