Talonflame is faster than Cofagrigus though, so it doesn't matter that it loses priority on Gale Wings as it's just going to switch out when you send in your counter

Carrying a pokemon which job is to take a hit (and very often die in the process) because it force 2 pokemon to switch don't seems a good idea to me

Talonflame with Choice items gets a 3HKO on Cofagrigus, and Cofagrigus can do the same sans the Choice Band. It's fun on a Trick Room team.
