No, we do not need this again. This fandom is bad enough without the uppity yugioh people demanding stuff. In fact, I'd say that my fears have come true and just like Yugioh, competitive is all anyone cares about. This was just supposed to be a fun thing, and it was mired in rules and whatnot.

There was this website where you could "make your own card game" and they spent a lot of time trying to make the cards people came up with work with the system. I guess the effort just kind of died. It's cool if you just wanna make cards for kicks and giggles though.

??? I'm pretty sure most L:8s were around 3000 even then. I haven't sedcen too many L:7s to know what they're like. I forget the range I found more fitting for it.

I edon't think anyone was using these either, but they were obsessed with making it match modern standards and archetypes. I don't think any of that is important. Just make the cards aned poopie on if it works in the game or not, as long as it makes sense.

That's pretty much what happened. People kept saying shit like 800/300 with no effect was a good situational card, meanwhile people were making cards that were based on actually cards that would steamroll other cards people were making.

Dont have any design software but here are three ideas for you guys, based on my ultimate pokebro.

Electabuzz
Light/Beast-Warrior
LV4 1600/900
Any monster which declares an attack on this card cannot attack for its next two battle phases

Basically its the Static ability.

Electivire
Light/Beast-Warrior
LV7 2650/1900
Cannot be summoned except by the effect of "Electrizer"
When This card battles a LIGHT monster, increase attack by 400 and defense by 600. When This card battles a WATER monster, attack beomes equal to the attack of the opposing monster, plus 100 until the end of the damage step, then the controlling player of Electivire receives 500 pts damage to LP
(Motor Drive and Wild Charge)

Evolite
quick spell
Can only be activated during opponents turn on a LV4 or lower monster. ATK and Def of delacred monster is doubled until end of battle phase. After the Battle phase, card becomes equip spell and is equipped to the monster it was activted on. Equip spell increases Defense by 1000.

The Xyz monsters need to have a rank equal to the level of the monsters used for it's summon. Since there are 3 level 8 monsters needed, Jirachi would need to be at rank 8.
