I read somewhere that the 1st place team for the very first pokemon world championship held in 1998 in Japan consisted of nothing but 6 chanseys. I was very curious about this, and did some extended googling and found out that there is basically no information available about the roots of competitive pokemon tournaments. Anyone know of a resource that I missed that has info on teams, people, stats, moves, prizes, etc. of the very old tournaments?
