I'm new to breeding. I'm saved in front of the delivery girl right now, and she has my Speed Boost Torchic.

My goal is to come out with an Adamant pentaperfect Blaziken. Where do I begin, and what do I do?

I just went through the process of learning to do this quickly myself. This video is very helpful. Basically, the stats passed down are calculated before you even parents in. By using magikarp you can see what will hatch out of your next egg and then place parents in that will give you your perfect 5ivs.

You'll need a lot of dittos.

Talk to the girl, get a Torchic, make sure it's female. If not, soft-reset and try again. After you get your female, find a male Meditite and breed the two until you get a male Torchic. Breed male with female until you get some Torchics with perfect IV's in at least one stat. Get one male with a perfect stat and one female with a perfect stat and give them a Power item to hold that corresponds to their perfect stats. Breed the two until you get a Torchic with two perfect stats. Rinse and repeat until pentaperfect.

The torchic you get from mystery gift is male only.

You don't even need to worry about the nature you get, because if you collect a bunch of dittors from safari, you can pass adament down on your first breed then use that one after.

The only thing is that I don't have a Ditto friend safari, and I'm in a place with really shitty ass internet. I can still get one, but I'd have to find someone who'd be patient with me.

Also, what's the best strategy for getting all the Dittos I need from the safari, come time?

Just check out the safari fc threads in vp. You'll eventually find someone with a ditto safari. You add them, they add you, and you only need to be online at the same time once, and you'll be able to catch all 3 available pokemon.

For catching them, personally I use a max attack stat sycther with false swipe and no other offensive abilities. That way when it transforms it can't really do anything annoying.

I have like 3 pages full of different ditto iv combos and natures.

He is right, as far as I've experienced when breeded eevee's. I started with a male with anticipation and have plenty of pokemon with that ability. It seemed that no matter what parent I used, it would pass most of the time.

Even with two eevee's it wasn't always the hidden ability passed.

I got a start with an at least 3IV Pokemon I get from a trades, and then I use one of my Ditto with various perfect IVs to get what I want, switching out the parents with offspring with higher IVs to make it quicker.

That's weird because when I was trying to breed a female with a ditto, none of the babies had the HA. Could it just be a diminished rate?

Get a Pokemon, find out its IVs, get a Ditto with different IVs, breed until you get a Pokemon with more IVs than the original, switch the original Pokemon with the new one, breed until you get more IVs and so on, you get the picture.

take them to the name guy
nickname them their iv combos
repeat until lots of dittos

then breed.until you aquire desired ivs

Just use the marking system in the PC 5 steps away

Circle is hp
Triangle is atk
Square is def
Heart is SA
Star is SD
Diamond is Sp

Select a pokemon choose Marking then mark the corresponding IVs and click confirm. You can get more Dittos faster than the flying to nickname etc. Do the same for offspring- get a Talonflame with Flame Body to hatch faster and as a fly-er
