Is Marill supposed to be a pain in the ass to breed? I just got done breeding a 5 IV belly jet marill and MY GOD was it tedious. I swear i went through 5 boxes of rejects before finally getting a 5 IV one. Am i just unlucky or is it supposed to be hard to breed certain pokemon?

Shit luck. Just last night I burnt through about 150 Pinsir trying to get one with the right IV spread and ability.

marill is easy -- you can find 3 IV azurills in the wild, because they are babies. catch a few of those, breed them together until the kid has 5 IVs huge power, and belly jet.

Tips to remember:

> did you utilize destiny knot technology. if not, that can help

other than that, I don't know what to tell you other than it gets easier with time, I guess

Sometimes its just bad luck. I had a 5 perfect IV hidden ability impish Phantump after only 10 eggs, but the Togepi I'm trying to breed has literally been taking me all day, and I don't need any egg moves or hidden abilities or anything for him. I was breeding together two 3 IV Togetics (HP, Def, Satk and HP, Sdef, Spd) for like 4 hours today before one finally showed up with 4 IVs. I was getting a bunch of no perfect IV kids too, which seems just statistically improbable to me.
