I have a timid Kingdra with exact same build, except, I ran 252 SPA and 148 HP and dumped the rest in speed, it's really hard to get this set to work on its own, it wont outspeed much even with max EV's. If you want to run critdra you need Smogonchicken support. with the amount of priority users and things like Smogonbat and Garchomp running around, you might as well go full defense and pass it speed.

I actually have a shiny kingdra as well, I go with life orb, 252 spa, 252 speed, and 6 hp.

I've got the problem where I have a seadra with great stats in sp. attack, but it has a neutral nature. Should I just fish some more? It also has swift swimmer

Oh it's a shiny? I mean ideally, the only way to get a competitive shiny is by breeding, but you could always use one you find. And neutral is better than a hindering nature(spa) I suppose

I thought going 252 in speed is a waste. Are you faster then most pokemon? I don't want to waste 252 EVs with speed if I can not outspeed others... Therefor I was thinking goint 252 HP 252 SAtt. 6 (S)Def.

Usually, If I lead with my kingdra, I can get off a dragon dance if I prefect they'll switch out, and outspeed a good amount of commonly used pokes. That's just from my personal experience though. But going with hp instead is a completely good option, speed just fits my plays style

if you want to make ur kindra usable, run stickyweb support to guarantee you will outspeed pokemon, im running modest kindra @scopelens, hydropump,dracometeor,flashcannon,focus energy, might take out focus energy if i can get a nice blaziken as a batton passer to kindra
