>>16861540Believe it or not a lot of the attraction is emotional based. People like the idea of an exotic battling companion that they can bond in an interspecies romance with. Or the flavor text makes then more attractive (Gardevoir is a prime example). Not to say people are in love or have no sense of reality, but it's a fantasy people have that's all.
