Yes! Everything about sky battles make me vomit. When I play a new Pokemon game I try to battle every trainer in the game. But I just couldn't. Every other battle had someone using Stone Edge, or T-Bolt. But the worse fucking thing is how it fucked up so many 3-D sprites of so many mons just so they would look good in sky battles.

It's because he's not levitating in Mega Form, (he sinks into the ground, and he looks kind of silly when his entire model is out in the open) Charizard X still flies.

This fucked up two things:
- Pokemon which should be valid to sky battle aren't allowed because they're not flying/floating in their default pose (e.g. Pidgey)
- Some Pokemon now looks ugly by making them fly (Xatu) or in a terrible fly animation (Swellow).

Skarmory for example is idling in the console games (Stadium 2 and such), but when is actually flying or gets hit starts flapping its wings. Here is like is hanging by a string like a plane model.

Yeah it's pretty lazy on Game Freak's part. Hawlucha can learn Fly, but it can't sky battle, not because it would be incapable of battling in the sky, but because Game Freak couldn't be bothered to maybe make two poses. I feel like they cut some corners in this game.
