What's the point in playing Pokemon if you use the same pokemon as everyone else? I know some people use different pokemon, but the majority of both Rated and Showdown, the majority of their pokemon are exactly the same, even down to sets.
I was under the impression that you play pokemon to use whatever pokemon you want. Now a days everyone uses the same pokemon, it becomes a completely different game, where people focus on prediction instead of preparing for other kinds of pokemon.
2000+ ranking in Showdown's OU literally leads you to fight teams set up against "le smogon teamus." No this isn't a Karenfag thread, but seriously don't play pokemon if you're going to be build a team exactly like hundreds of other people, only to pull it off worse. You're killing the community.
