Do these work on flashcarts or not?

I know that with a flashcart I could just edit a save or something, but I'd really like to host events for my community

I have got a rom from 3 Shiny Legendary Beasts + Celebi somewhere, did a small local event with them.

The one I'm looking for now is the Shiny Dragon Trio (I bet they must unlock something, I don't know, just as the Shiny Beast Trio did...)
