Before, I would usually think that my team could beat any team the AI came up with. I just had to make the right decisions, and whenever I lost before, I could always go back and see what I could've done differently, and I'd take that into the next run and proceed further if I met a similar team again.

This time however, I honestly felt like I couldn't do a damn thing. It was a battle against the percentages from start to finish, and I didn't win the crucial turns. I was just royally fucked over by the bullshit AI.
