Just go to

Then go to upload pokemon
Select your .pkm file
Change your internet settings on your 3ds/Dsi (Change your DNS, Is in the pokegts web)
And just go to the GTS in your game to get the pokemon

So I think im getting the hang of this, I made mons that I "hatched" in black version that pass pokecheck's analysis, but now im trying to make some that came from HGSS and it says the trash bytes are bad for my HGSS OT. When making black pokes I didnt do anything like \ffff and it didn't have an issue with bytes, only when I try to hack HGSS mons

Guys there is a filter.
If you make a pokemon with riduculous shit (i.e. bogus movesets, shiny victini/zekrom, or something of the like) it will tell you your pokemon cannot be transferred. In the event that it does transfer, you won't be able to use it online.

Also the trash bytes aren't a problem in Pokebank, but if you want to change them just download a copy of the pokemon (an ''original'' .pkm file and copy the nickname with the ''/fff/00'' in it) and paste them in your pokemon.

In the left summary you're free to import it to XY, but if you just get

I have a question.

I have a save on my flashcart for black 2, but I don't have a legit cart anymore after getting all my shit stolen a while back.
Can I use pokedoc's save thing to transfer my flashcart save onto a legit copy with just my DSTwo or do I need additional hardware?

I know its not specifically pokegen, but its still in the realm at least

I want to use a few Pokemon unobtainable in X and Y like Genesect, to get them all I have to do is beat the first gym in BW2 then use GTS right? How hard is it to generate it to look legit? I see there are guides and stuff, but do veterans have problems with this?

I just downloaded PokeSav and my virus scanner went off for a "Win32/poks"

How do i create legit PIDs? This is the only thing that I have trouble with. Honestly it is easier for me to catch/hatch a pokemon legit in the game then just edit the IVs since they aren't tied to PID in gen v.

For this you'll need different things, if you have a original cartridge:
>Time (1 Complete day you'll be entering and leaving the GTS in the game)
>Go to Pokecheck and get for each 649 a .pkm file
>Go to pokegts/ pokedit.com, upload the 649 files there (your browser will crash if you upload the 600+ in pokedit,so just upload 30 files each time), and change your DNS in your game.
>Go and enter the gts 649 times in your game

Change the met location from Skyarrow Bridge to Day-Care Couple. Keep the hatch condition the same though. Remove the PID part and just save it as pokegen will just gen a random one.

here's the box link, I think. The nick named pert is the "original" while the other 2 were tests to see if I did it right. I tried genning these guys a long time ago, that's why there's trainwrecks such as the salamence.

I'd recommend you use the RNG reporter program to get a shiny PID since sometimes it doesn't generate a valid one.

The gen v hacks are easy, basically you just only need to ''modify'' an existing pokemon file (.pkm)
that you can download from:

I use both (PokeGen/Sav) in order to have no errors with trashbytes etc.

If you are starting just use pokesav, and always have a open internet tab with the pokemon info. (egg moves/ moves)

In gen iv the hardest part is basically the legality of the PID (ivs nature) in a pokemon

Ok I remembered out how the shorter nickname trash byte works now.

If you want a nick name like Blast for Blastiose
you have to do something like this. Change the name to Blast Add the \FFFF instead of finishing it off add the last bits of the stage 1 name -1 front one So Blast becomes Blast\FFFFle then fill the rest in with \FFFF\0000\FFF
so the full name becomes Blast\FFFFle\FFFF\0000\FFFF

Another Example
a chattot named C becomes
C\FFFFatot\FFFF\0000\0000\0000\FFFF

Wishmkr jirachi uses the B-A-C-D(U) algoirthm not what ever you were using. All the shiny wishmkr jirachi IVs are horrible so just use a normal one.
