Facts are that writing about in game characters is tough just because some of them lack personality. People aren't into the Manga as much so people other don't understand due to not reading it or just hate it in general. The anime also lacks diverse personality's beyond "Happy" since they can't have too much differences for the kids to see.
Just because it's fanfiction doesn't me writers of it aren't practicing their writing skills in general.

Oh god, I remember this one weird fanfic I read way the fuck back when, that involved almost all women being slowly turned into pokegirls for some reason, and they could be caught in Pokeballs. Stupidly enough, if you tried to catch a human girl with a pokeball, it would turn her into a pokegirl. Duplica became a Ditto, May a Skitty, and Misty was an Eevee(I think). I didn't get any farther than the 6th chapter or something.

My first attempt.
A young boy cleans his attic for his grandmother one day and discovers she might not have been such a boring lady back in the day. The story of a young hot headed tomboy who walks home from school in the rain one day to witness a very unpleasant surprise of a boy throwing a Vulpix off a bridge into a river. I wrote a short story ages ago and have been working on it off and on, but that was from the Ninetales point of view, I'm doing one from her trainers point of view.

I do have respect for him in the fact that he took characters he didn't make himself and find ways to fit them in with the existing other "OCs" in the fic. But sometimes you have to stop and think about what you say. Yes some people here and all people write some form of Ship fic or Furfic. Most of the time it's done by requests of other anons. But people don't write that all the time. Some of us write other things like horror or adventure fics, sometimes comedy ect. From personal experience I've tried writing an adventure fic, tho it failed because I was overhyping a concept that wasn't worth hyping up that would piss some people off.
Overall no one is dissing Orzo
only some are but they're being immature about it just we're all writers in the end. whether it be shitty fics or good ones, it's all trial and error and the tastes of the reader.

he did a good job of it with interactions between them but not the point. We write other genres ect ect.
