The thing is, the WiiU servers went down since yesterday and haven't returned yet.
3DS is also shaky. The internet can be accessed, but the excessive traffic from MH4, Pokemon and other games is taking its toll on the internet and Eshop services.
For now, we have to wait until both normalize; it may be today, maybe tomorrow, or faster, if Nintendo did catched up with these issues.
And watch how the network goes down as soon as pokebank and transfer are launched internationally. Mark my words for this one
