Let's say the topic for this is your Shiny Pokemon stories as I found my fourth since Ruby. It was a shiny Zubat in HG. Before that I had Two Shellders in Y and a Seedot in Ruby.
In Gold and Crystal I found a good amount especially since I ended up with a Shiny Ditto which increased the chances by a good amount because of the way shinies were done back then.
