Decoy patches are easy to avoid, just have to follow all the arbitrary rules.

I'm more excited for MM + Charm and Safari + Charm though

Only one I know is scattered between like 5 images. it's like

>No patches that shake 1-2 cells away from you
>No two patches next to each other
>No edges as the next set of patches may all be in cells outside of the edge
>Keep resetting until you find a patch that rustles the fastest possible and keeps with above rules
>If unsure reset radar

I was wanting to know this too.
I have every mon (or one from their evolution line) and can finish the dex besides legends.

I got the other charm without having to have the birds. fwiw

In B2/W2 you didn't need any event mons. It's probably the same this gen. You need Box legends and such, just no event legends.

I just found it frustrating, breaking a chain at ~30 is annoying as fuck. After successfully getting a shiny from it once I just went back to other methods, but I can see how it might be faster if you're more experienced with it and it seems that at a chain of 40 you're guaranteed at least two 31IVs.

You need those, just not: Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Deoxys, Manaphy, Phione, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Keldeo, Meloetta and Genesect.

How does pokebank work in terms of getting the pokes back? Does it work the same way an email service does? As in you only need the username and password to access the pokes, allowing one to restart their game and get all the pokes back into the game?
