My uncle is going to japan and knowing that I am a pokemon/manga/animefag he told me "tell me what you want and I'll bring it to you".
Is there any particulary awesome thing I could make him bring me?

i know, that's why i also recommended food. Japanese treats can be quite interesting.
There's also some nice artwork you can get near shrines and such. Just don't ask for clothes if you're over 6 feet tall, it probably won't fit right -_-

Tokyo Bay Inkay is an exclusive give away right this moment in Japan at Pokemon Centers, which are specialty stores. They also sell quite a few other knick knacks you can't get anywhere else.

yes it's an event.
The whole store is full of shit that isn't sold outside of Japan so I can't name anything specifically. I know McDonald's in Japan in selling 2014 pokemon calendars that come with a hiragana chart, so that could be something. Very cheap, too. I have one in my dorm room.
